    Job Description

    The Accounts Receivable Administrator position is an entry level, administrative role that will assist and facilitate in the overall operations of the Accounts Receivable and Collections Department. This includes the management of a shared email inbox, updating of purchase orders, processing credit card payments, updating customer master records, and portal invoicing. This role is a hybrid position reporting out of our corporate office located in Hudson, OH.

    • Monitor general Accounts Receivable E-mailbox and ensure all incoming general requests are answered timely.
    • Applies POs to their respective cases in the proper company software.
    • Ensures that emails and conversation threads are cleared out daily and any questions are responded to or assigned to the appropriate Collector.
    • Responds to customer requests for invoice and statement copies.
    • Updates ForTec’s CRM Software Program (CRM) with any customer provided contact information changes.
    • Ensure pricing on PO’s received from Vendors matches ForTec’s invoice pricing.
    • Follows up with customers and sales to resolve pricing and pricing discrepancies that may arise.
    • Submits invoices on customer portals and websites.
    • Monitors invoices for rejections, and works with the appropriate internal parties to correct and resubmit.
    • Assist with monthly statement processing.
    • Processing customer credit card payments.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance and/or equivalent experience preferred.
    • 1-3 years previous work experience in fast-paced environment required.
    • Proficient technical knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
    • Great Plains software experience a plus.
    • Sufficient analytical skills to assess problems or unusual situations and develop solutions.
    • Excellent judgment, communication and organizational skills.
    • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to function effectively in meeting daily deadlines.
    • Ability to manage high volume activity and multi-tasking is essential.
