    Job Description

    Forbes Marketplace is looking for an editor with credit cards editing experience to join the Forbes Marketplace team as Updates Editor. We’re looking to optimize our reporting on credit cards and travel rewards, and we want to help guide our readers to make the best choices through best-ofs, product reviews, engaging content and data- and SEO-driven journalism.     _ Responsibilities:_

    • Help the lead editor build and scale Forbes Advisor’s credit card content efforts by updating and optimizing key pages
    • Work with the lead editor to build best practices for updating credit card content
    • Leverage data and SEO best practices to manage page updates that include explanatory content, how-tos, roundups, best-ofs and product reviews
    • Work collaboratively with the global editorial team, creating best practices worldwide for the space
    • Edit, update and produce editorial content
    • Follow methodologies to rate and rank related products and services for best-ofs (example: Best Credit Cards)

    Requirements:

    • 2 years of experience in online journalism
    • Demonstrably strong understanding of the credit card space
    • Experience with SEO best practices, willingness to learn and expand SEO skills
    • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
    • Nimble and open to quick changes in strategy
