Job Description

The Production Team is responsible for creating all new Forbes Advisor web pages and optimizing existing pages via the CMS across the numerous Forbes Advisor properties. This is in order to meet customer needs and ultimately deliver the business SEO strategy.

The team has grown quickly and continues to do so, producing 1500+ pieces of content per month, with new areas of responsibility arriving regularly. This specialist role is fundamental to the business’ success, ensuring we are able to operate a highly performing content production team through formatting the most complex production requests and training, support and mentoring of more junior team members.

A typical day in the life of a Senior Content Producer involves formatting the most complex of production requests independently, questioning when things don’t look right and liaising with stakeholders to ensure sound communication. You will also work closely with Content Producers and Interns to help mentor and support them in their roles through peer reviewing their work and training. You will also work closely with Content Leads to coordinate larger projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities :

• Must be a Wordpress authoring expert and be able to make any required change independently as well as pass this knowledge and best practice on to other team members.
• Reach out to Content Managers and Content Leads to actively learn new CMS skills where necessary.
• Supporting and mentoring Content Producers. Using your established, advanced Wordpress knowledge, you will be expected to closely support junior team members in their day to day workload. Providing guidance, support and advice in a well mannered, professional and helpful tone.
• Run regular training sessions as well as ad-hoc on the spot training with Content Producers and interns to upskill them in existing functionality.
• Peer review formatting requests from Content Producers and interns, identifying issues and helping the individual to understand their error and train them how to avoid it recurring.
• Work with the Content Leads and Content Managers to aid in the coordination of larger projects such as website migrations. You will be expected to provide the CMS expertise to help plan these projects as well as advising of any blockers within the team.
• Take ownership of tasks that the Content Lead may be unable to prioritize, covering for them when they are on leave or if they require additional help and support.
