    The Industrial Segment focuses on the Electronics, Life-Science, Automotive and Aerospace Markets. These businesses including: ESD Cleanrooms, Manufacturing and Assembly Environments, Data Centers, Pharma and MedTech manufacturers, Hospitals, Laboratories, Medical Device Manufacturing, etc.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The Industrial Sales Representatives target focus.will be expected to leverage existing industry knowledge and relationships and expand and significantly grow sales and presence in state of Tennessee which is a rapidly growing territory. To achieve greater Market penetration in Healthcare,Education, Senior Care and Industrial market segments. Further develop key end-user, contractor, architect/design and flooring dealer relationships with firms that focus on the institutional market segment.This will be accomplished by growing the existing customer base, as well and developing new End User customers. It also entails working with our existing Institutional Sales Reps.

    Specifically, The Industrial Sales Representative Will Be Responsible For:

    · Understanding client needs early on, driving client engagement and positioning.

    · Using and optimizing Forbo’s client relationship management (CRM) tool as our primary communication medium.

    · Understanding, categorizing, prioritizing, and managing clients while maintaining trusted client relationships and developing new business.

    · Identifying and building trusted relationships with key regional, national, and international clients and decision makers.

    · Developing relationships with End Users, General Contractors, Key Architects, Engineering Firms and Flooring Contractors.

    · Understanding and analyzing the competition.

    · Providing real-time updates through CRM and engaging in weekly meetings and/or recording notes as required.

    · Identifying target accounts and utilizing our CRM system to schedule meetings with customers in the industrial segment industries.

    · Scheduling and executing weekly new business meetings.

    · Working closely with and communicating effectively with the Industrial Segment Lead and the local Forbo salesforce.

    · Developing a clear understanding of what matters to clients and providing solutions to exceed client needs.

    Qualifications

    · Bachelor’s degree in Business, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.

    · 3 to 5 or more years’ related business development experience and/or relationships within the Flooring or ESD Markets.

    · Proficient in sales and managing a large territory.

    · Strong presentation and listening skills.

    · The ability to get in front of customers and understand their needs through a consultative sales process.

    ·· Must be able to travel the Tennessee area of the United States on a regular basis.

    · Must be able to interact professionally with all levels of management and staff in a fast-paced environment while simultaneously efficiently and effectively managing a diversified workload and challenging situations.

    · Must thrive on building lasting customer relationships that develop into sales and growth in the territory.
