    Job Description

    Ford Audio-Video is in search of a talented professional with purchasing and general accounting experience to provide a full range of administrative support for an accounting and purchasing team in a fast-paced, high volume environment. Must be organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and manage multiple priorities. This position performs considerable coordination, and manages procedures for accomplishing the work assignment.

    The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for placing orders with vendors, and in doing so, negotiating the best pricing, terms, and shipping costs. This position works directly with the Accounting Center Manager to make timely, efficient and money saving purchases. The Purchasing Coordinator must maintain high ethical and moral standards in all business communications, and is responsible for placing, tracking and communicating the status of all purchase orders.

    The successful candidate will be analytical, mature, highly organized, customer-focused, detail-oriented, flexible, and self-motivated professional. Advanced PC skills including MS Office and 10-key by touch are also required. A bachelor's degree is required.
