    Caruso Ford Lincoln seeks a qualified Ford Diesel & Fleet Technician for our service department in Long Beach, California. This position is responsible for performing accurate diagnostics and repairs on Ford diesel/gas engines, including: F250 - F550 platforms, RVs, box trucks, utility vehicles, and more. The role supports our goals of high productivity and high-quality service for customers and fleets. Responsibilities: • Diagnose and repair heavy-duty engine and powertrain issues efficiently to ensure vehicles are safe and reliable. • Perform warranty and customer-pay repairs with complete, accurate documentation of all tests, findings, and procedures to meet Ford policies. • Carry out routine fleet maintenance such as oil changes, filter services, and system inspections to keep vehicles in top condition. • Work with team members to troubleshoot complex fleet mechanical and electrical problems and deliver timely solutions. • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support safety, efficiency, and high bay utilization in the service area. • Stay current on the latest Ford fleet technologies, diagnostic tools, and repair techniques through ongoing training. • Complete all work in full compliance with industry standards, Ford warranty requirements, and applicable regulations. Qualifications: • Experience in diagnosing and repairing Ford fleet systems (F250+ & Transit Vans) with precision and efficiency. • Ability to perform fleet maintenance and repairs while following proper documentation and warranty procedures. • Proven ability to collaborate with team members to solve complex mechanical and diagnostic problems. • Strong organizational skills to keep the workspace clean, safe, and productive. • Clear communication skills to explain vehicle issues and repair timelines to customers and colleagues. • Commitment to staying updated on advanced diesel technologies and repair methods. • Solid understanding of industry standards and Ford warranty guidelines. • Ford diesel certification or equivalent ASE credentials preferred; experience with the Reynolds and Reynolds system is a plus. Compensation: $30 - $60 hourly
