Job Description

Forecasting Analyst Position is responsible for sales forecasting which includes volume/demand planning by part number for select business areas and manufacturing plants. The forecast planning role consists of monitoring regional production volumes, customer releases, customer plant schedules, and gathering intelligence on part number changes from plants supporting monthly volume review meetings to develop, review, and gain approval of the forecast by all stakeholders (plant, business areas, logistics, and sales). This position also participates in the ten-year strategic planning process including the alignment of both short and long-term forecasts.

Core Responsibilities:

• Maintain thirty-six month forecast in customer demand planning tool in SAP
• Support Volume Review Meetings and works closely with Finance, Sales, and Logistics in the monthly consensus forecast process
• Participate in monthly North America production volume planning meetings
• Monitor customer volumes and schedules by accessing supplier portals or electronic production schedules, to understand the impact to Aumovio
• Collaborate with departments such as finance, operations and purchasing to understand strategic directions and adjust forecasting levels
• Lead driving process improvements

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE :

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration or relevant
• 2 plus years relevant work experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of PowerPoint and Outlook
• Ability to take initiative to develop and implement new projects
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job posting.

• 5 plus years relevant work experience
• Experience in Automotive Industry
• Working knowledge of SAP
• Proven ability to evaluate current processes, implement automation solutions, and enhance overall efficiency.
