At Howard Law, our Foreclosure Litigation Attorneys represent banks, mortgage lenders, servicers, and financial institutions in complex foreclosure matters. We are dedicated to providing aggressive, efficient, and strategic legal representation that protects clients’ interests while ensuring compliance with state and federal foreclosure laws. Responsibilities: • Represent lenders, servicers, and investors in judicial foreclosure proceedings, eviction actions, and related real estate litigation. • Draft, review, and file foreclosure complaints, discovery requests, dispositive motions, settlement agreements, and appellate briefs. • Defend against borrower counterclaims and statutory challenges, including wrongful foreclosure, RESPA, TILA, FDCPA, and predatory lending claims. • Conduct legal research on foreclosure statutes, mortgage law, consumer protection regulations, and bankruptcy issues that may impact foreclosure actions. • Advocate for clients in hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials in both state and federal courts. • Negotiate loan workouts, forbearance agreements, and settlements when beneficial to clients. • Work closely with loan officers, title companies, real estate professionals, and client representatives to resolve disputes efficiently and effectively. Qualifications: • 2-5 Years of strong foreclosure litigation and trial experience. • Deep understanding of foreclosure procedures, creditor rights, and mortgage regulations. • Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while meeting strict deadlines. • J.D. from an accredited law school and active state bar membership.
