    Carolina Outreach is seeking a Forensic Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) Team Lead for the overall clinical and administrative supervision of the FACT team, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based services for individuals with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders who are involved in the criminal justice system

    As a Forensic ACT Team Lead, you will provide leadership, service coordination, staff supervision, and legal system collaboration to support the successful reintegration of justice-invovled individuals into the community. The Team Lead ensures adherence to forensic treatment best practices while working closely with law enforcement, courts, probation/parole officers, and other stakeholders.

    Position Highlights:

    • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to the FACT team, ensuring adherence to forensic mental health standards and model fidelity.

    • Oversee the development and implementation of person-centered treatment plans that integrate behavioral health and legal system requirements.

    • Serve as the primary liaison between the FACT team and criminal justice partners, including courts, probation/parole, and correctional agencies.

    • Conduct and oversee forensic risk assessments, diversion planning, and reentry coordination to support justice-involved individuals.

    • Lead multidisciplinary team meetings, providing clinical guidance, case consultation, and staff training in evidence-based forensic practices.

    Location: Raleigh, NC

    Compensation: $70,000.00

    • Education:
      • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field, required.
    • Certification / Licensure Requirements:
      • Active clinical license (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, or equivalent, required.
      • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required within 90 days of hire.
      • CPR/First Aid certification, required.
      • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation, required.
    • Experience / Knowledge Requirements:
      • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in community mental health, forensic mental health, or criminal justices-related services, required.
