Forensic psychiatry practice specializing in children’s psychological trauma provides expert witness services such as records review, evaluations, and expert opinions concerning psychological damages, sexual abuse, and institutional negligence claims with focus on foster care, school administration, residential treatment, churches, and juvenile delinquency facilities.
In search of an experienced forensic child psychiatrist, psychologist, and social worker. Desired candidate is Board-certified and psychoanalytically oriented with experience taking careful histories, performing diagnostic interview evaluations, interpreting and utilizing psychometric data, reviewing large quantities of background records, and be able to produce written quality forensic expert opinions regarding psychological trauma damages and means of rehabilitation. Experience giving testimony is a plus. Salary range is $100-$350 an hour based on experience and type of licensure.

Applicant:
Must be detail-oriented, an excellent writer, reporter, able to meet often pressing deadlines, comfortable speaking in adversarial situations such as giving testimony in depositions and trials, open to learning, quick about absorbing scientific literature rapidly when it is relevant to the particular case, and follow complex instructions. Must be proficient with WORD, proofreading, Zoom, and be able to work with PDF files.
Must hold Board certification in Child Psychiatry or psychology, licensed, and be psychoanalytically oriented. In addition, you will have an opportunity to learn from and train with one of the most highly skilled and experienced expert witnesses in the field. Compensation based upon experience, quality of work, and productivity. Some training will be given.
