    Here’s a little bit more about what we’re looking for in this position. We are looking for someone that is confident and comfortable when working with clients, with the ability to empathize effectively regarding their request, enabling the successful troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolution of the issue at hand. We’re looking for someone who can work both proactively and re-actively, depending on the needs of the situation, on networks, routers, switches, servers, desktops, laptops, applications, and email. We are looking for someone who has a passion for an advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems and networking.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

    • Assist in operations management and product development
    • Determine users’ technical needs and provide them with appropriate solutions
    • Install hardware, software and device drivers on computers and servers
    • Install and configure computer networks including LAN and WAN
    • Manage network configurations to ensure that all computers on a network can communicate effectively
    • Test computers peripherals, hardware and software to ensure that they are working appropriately
    • Upgrade software, patches and operating systems on a continuous basis
    • Act as a technical resource to assist users with resolving computer issues
    • Answer phone calls, tickets and emails pertaining to users’ computer problems
    • Ensure that all computers are secured effectively by installing and updating security software
    • Set up and organize IP addresses appropriately
    • Train users on new software
    • Analyze network problems and manage preventative maintenance procedures
    • Create and maintain documentation of technical procedures, credentials and network components

    QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS

    • Effectively communicate with the owner, team, customers and vendors
    • Efficiently manage their time to complete tasks, projects, training and research
    • Organized and detail-oriented with respect to all business and technical processes
    • Experience in computer repair, networking, routers, switches, and security
    • Cisco Networking and SonicWALL experience desired
    • Managed IT Services software experience desired
    • Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac experience
    • VoIP phone system experience desired
