Job Title: Forge Press Operator – 2nd Shift

Location: Verdi, NV
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Shift: 2nd Shift, M-Th 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm (w/ possibility of starting earlier and/or going later with OT), Fri. 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (if work until midnight on Thursday night, will prefer them to come in at 9 am so that they can get some sleep between shifts)

Position Overview

We are seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join a growing manufacturing team as a Forge Press Operator on the 2nd shift. This is a hands-on production role offering on-the-job training and strong long-term career potential. Ideal candidates will be comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment and eager to learn new skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload forged metal parts from press equipment

• Assist with machine setups and production changeovers

• Perform basic visual inspections and measurements to ensure quality

• Operate trim presses and other manufacturing equipment as trained

• Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience preferred (not required)

• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment

• Comfortable working around machinery, noise, and heat

• Forklift or crane experience is a plus

• Willingness to learn and grow within the company

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift

• Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs

• Repetitive bending, reaching, and movement
