The Fruit Delivery Operator must know how to properly fill out all logs. Must know how to properly perform metal detector and sorter challenge testing every 12 hours, as well as magnet checks and documentation of findings. Transport fruit from the freezer area to the fruit delivery staging area. Fruit Delivery Operator must be able to report changes in process as well as maintain open communication with Lead and Supervisor, and maintain a safe forklift operating record. Responsibilities: • Record bin tags to ensure they are properly inventoried, and manifests are accurate. • Complete daily signoff on PR documentation, ensuring all Quality standards have been met and documented. • Transport fruit from the freezer to the fruit delivery staging area. • Perform metal detector tests and sorter challenges. • Checking of both magnets in fruit delivery, as well as documenting and reporting any findings to the leadership team. • Maintain a clean work area, keeping food contact utensils and floor/waste utensils separate in use and storing. • Properly separate the following fruit streams by nature of product: SUF, Overs/Unders, Blower/Floor waste, and log information on the SDC Process Log sheet. • Audit the effectiveness of sanitation/CIP on all equipment, lines, and tanks. • Ensure proper time, temperature, and concentration are maintained during the wash cycle and recorded. • Perform drumming off process for juice and follow tank CIPs, troubleshooting equipment, and other tasks and duties as assigned. Qualifications: • Requires 1-3 years of forklift experience. • Requires good mathematical ability to perform production-related calculations, effective interpersonal skills, and good verbal and written communication skills. • Must be detail-oriented and can accomplish tasks under deadline pressure. Compensation: $18 - $22 hourly
