  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in Tulsa. This role focuses on the safe and efficient handling, loading, and unloading of glass, aluminum extrusions, and related building materials. You will play a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy, preparing orders for delivery, and ensuring fragile products are handled with the utmost care to prevent damage. Responsibilities: • Equipment Operation: Safely operate sit-down, stand-up, or reach forklifts (and potentially other material handling equipment) to move, load, and unload glass sheets, aluminum profiles, fabricated products, and crates within the warehouse and onto/out of trucks. • Fragile Material Handling: Use specialized techniques, attachments (e.g., vacuum lifts, clamps), and protective measures to handle delicate glass products without breakage. • Order Preparation: Pull and stage orders accurately according to pick lists, verify quantities and product specifications, and prepare shipments for delivery. • Loading/Unloading Support: Assist with loading and securing trucks for outgoing deliveries and unloading incoming shipments from suppliers. • Inventory Management: Conduct cycle counts, organize stock in designated areas, and report discrepancies or damaged items promptly. • Warehouse Maintenance: Keep work areas clean and organized, follow safety protocols, and perform basic equipment checks and maintenance reporting. • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA guidelines, company safety policies, and proper PPE usage; participate in safety training as required. Qualifications: • Experience in operating sit-down, stand-up, or reach forklifts in a warehouse setting. • 1+ Year Experience handling fragile materials, such as glass, using specialized techniques and equipment. • Proven track record of accurately pulling and staging orders according to pick lists. • Familiarity with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring the secure transport of materials. • Experience in conducting cycle counts and managing inventory discrepancies. • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. • Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and commitment to safety compliance in the workplace. Compensation: $19 - $21 hourly
