Job Summary

We are seeking a Forklift Operator for construction job site to join our team. In this role, you will transport construction lumber and materials throughout the job site(outside). This position requires a dedication to safety and careful driving practices. Ultimately, the goal of this position is to maximize efficiency by ensuring that materials and products are always in the right location at the right time. The ideal candidate has a proven track record as a Forklift Operator on construction sites and must have articulating Forklift experience and an excellent safety record.

Responsibilities

Unload lumber on job site from incoming trucks and relocate them to the appropriate places

Move lumber and materials around job site and from truck

Monitor products for damages, shortages, or quality control issues and report on those issues

Perform regular inspections of equipment

Maintain accurate inventory records and activity logs

Adhere to all health and safety regulations, legal guidelines, and company policies

Assist in maintaining a safe and organized work environment

Qualifications

Must have previous experience in construction as a Articulating Forklift Operator is required

Valid forklift certification

High school diploma/GED

Familiarity with and ability to use industrial equipment

Strong attention to detail

Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects

Excellent hand-eye coordination
