Job Summary

We are seeking a Forklift Operator for project cargo which may turn into long term business.

Responsibilities

Unload products from incoming trucks and relocate them to the appropriate places

Move pallets and crates from one location to another

Monitor products for damages, shortages, or quality control issues and report on those issues

Perform regular inspections and maintenance of machinery to ensure optimal operation

Maintain accurate inventory records and activity logs

Adhere to all health and safety regulations, legal guidelines, and company policies

Loading and unloading lumber from flatbeds and shipping containers

Assist in maintaining a safe and organized work environment

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Forklift Operator is required

Valid forklift certification

High school diploma/GED

Familiarity with and ability to use industrial equipment

Strong attention to detail

Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects

Excellent hand-eye coordination
