Position Overview: SEG Solar is expanding its horizons in the solar industry and seeks a certified forklift operator to provide support within a warehouse environment. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, organize, and manage products and materials within our facility. Responsibilities:

Material/product handling; loading and unloading trucks and containers; transporting materials and product to different locations withing facility.

Effectively optimize loads for efficiency, securing loads before transportation.

Stacking and organizing items in designated areas and storage areas.

Tasks, including reporting, updating inventory, lists, and records.

Perform routine pre- and post-operation inspection of the forklift; ensure the forklift is kept clean and well maintained.

Report any malfunctions, safety hazards, or needed repairs to management.

Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures within the facility; maintain a safe work environment.

Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient operations.

Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver license.

2-5 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment preferably.

Able to operate stand-up pallet jack.

Forklift Certified

Previous OSHA training a plus

Ability to lift and move objects, potentially up to 50 pounds, stand extended periods, and perform repetitive movements.

Ability to judge distances and maneuver forklift in different spaces.

Excellent communication skills.

Strong organization and time management skills

Excellent problem-solving skills

Ability to work well under pressure

Attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

· Schedule: Monday to Friday ( must be available to work Saturday) ; overtime available

Starting Pay: $15.00 ( Experience will be considered )
