Job Summary: Operate different forklifts to move pallets throughout the warehouse and to load and unload trucks.

Schedule: 7:30am-4:00pm

Location: Chester, VA

Pay Rate: $19/hr

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts including; Sit-Down, Reach Truck and Clamp Truck.
• Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items
• Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
• Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
• Securing loads to the machine before transportation.
• Inspecting for damages to vehicles.
• Maintain equipment work area cleanliness
• Operating and managing technical equipment.
• Managing inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment.
• Picking and wrapping orders for shipment.
• Identifying workplace safety hazards.
• Adhering to safety management standards.
• Adhering to production schedules.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Perform Quality Assurance
• Ability to read shipping and receiving documents (BOLS, Pick Tickets, Packing Lists
• Able to operate some or all types of equipment (Sit Down, Stand Up, Reach, and Clamp Trucks)

• Ability to work as part of cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
  • Thorough understanding of applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies.
  • Bilingual preferred

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED
1 year of previous forklift operation experience with Sit-Down, Reach Truck and Clamp Truck.
