Part Time Social Media & Marketing Assistant

The Social Media + Marketing Assistant is responsible for helping to build and engage our fitness community of current and prospective members on a daily basis. An essential component is communicating the company's brand in an authentic, positive way across all platforms. This is a part-time position currently 5-10 hours per week, with the possibility of expanding in the future. The Social Media + Marketing Assistant will report directly to the Marketing Director.
Responsibilities:
Support the social asset production process - filming, editing, and posting photos and videos to social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Youtube)
Assist with creating and executing social media schedule
Create engaging copy while ensuring brand consistency through tone, voice
Ordering print materials (business cards, posters, etc.)
Email marketing support
Requirements:
Proficiency with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and Youtube platforms
1-2 years of work experience in social media or other marketing function
Proficient using iMovie or similar editing software
Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and/or Hootsuite is a plus
Must have excellent communication skills, positive energy, and time management skills
