Social Media Coordinator

Hours per Week: 6-8 hrs at our Walnut Creek location

Reports To: COO

Mission:

Serve as the day-to-day engagement and conversation specialist for Forma Gym Walnut Creek and San Jose social media outlets, primarily Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. This person will seek out interesting member and staff stories and create interesting posts that will promote the Forma Gym brand.

Primary Objects:

Engage the community to help drive leads to the membership team

Create community among our members and staff in various ways

Promote revenue generating departments and staff with eye catching and create posts on all Forma channels.

Daily Responsibilities:

Management of a social media platform including posting and monitoring content.

Listen and respond to comments on the channels – engage members and the community

Create compelling Instagram Stories that tell the Forma story.

Promote all pages to attract more followers

Look for compelling and interesting stories in the clubs

Create a balance between member interest and promotional posts.

Gather a variety of topical information that reflects the diversity of our membership

Assist in promotion of revenue driven departments.

Create clever ways to engage the members

Work together with staff to help promote individuals while promoting the Forma brand.

Basic understanding of marketing
