CONTENT WRITER / FORUM ADMIN

FormaCars is looking for a "gearhead" who is also an excellent writer to contribute to creating content as well as participating in community forums. The ideal candidate will be passionate about cars, specifically classic/iconic cars, and be able to communicate effectively.

Job Duties

• Deliver 4-10 new 1000+ word articles for the company blog per month
• Participate daily in relevant car forums by providing thought leadership and value-add communication
• Monitor, communicate and delegate with deadlines to specialty teams members where they need to engage and interact with forum topics to provide advanced replies
• Take direction from Marketing leader

Requirements

• You are a gearhead and know everything about cars
• You are a skilled writer and communicator and can develop original content
• You are a self-starter and can complete work without being on location
• You are transparent with your workload and communicate what you are working on
• You can take direction and understand/or willing to learn content marketing
• You can work remotely and are tech-savvy

Compensation

• This is a 1099 contract position
• $600 per month
• Estimating about 10 hours a week

Length

• Depending on impact and content performance to business goals, could become a more long-term role

Other

• This is not a traditional 9-5 job and you will have flexibility with your work hours. You could do this as a side project to your current job. You must be open to scheduling and communicating with Marketing leadership. We will be flexible to your schedule

• Not required, but a bonus if you have advertising and / or videography background
