    Job Description

    One day you will need to hire people, find volunteers, or engage others with a cause. This is recruiting. It’s a great career for some and an important life skill for all. Unfortunately, recruiting is often not taught in business schools, communications studies, or HR certification programs. 

    FJR’s internship program is a unique, practical, and valuable experience that you can apply to any career or endeavor. Created especially for driven college students considering careers in marketing or human resources, Interns will gain a foundational understanding of recruitment through hands-on training and direct experience. 

    Our Internship is an intentional three-month program designed for the curious, ambitious, and creative. You will receive professional training and hands-on experience in the three essential facets of an effective recruiting strategy: 

    Sourcing

    • conducting research
    • creating candidate profiles
    • identifying potential candidates

    Marketing

    • messaging + copywriting
    • social media advertising
    • employer branding

    Recruiting

    • storytelling
    • conducting interviews 
    • engaging passive and active candidates

    Focusing an entire month on each of these three areas, you will be trained on strategy, learn best practices, and work on actual searches for our clients under the leadership of an expert on the FJR team.
