Our company is seeking a dedicated Receptionist to handle client-facing duties as well as general office management tasks. When our clients walk into our office, we want them to find a friendly, smiling face and a helping hand. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and multitasking skills, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately
- Notifies company personnel of visitor arrival
- Maintains security and telecommunications system
- Informs visitors by answering or referring inquiries
- Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories
- Maintains security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor badges
- Operates telecommunication system, screens and transfers calls as required
- Keeps a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Supports continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Providing administrative support to the office manager as directed
- Cater for VIP staff and visitors as needed
- Organize emails and calendars for staff and visitors as needed
- In alignment with the office manager, maintain all documentation logs for incoming and outgoing correspondences
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of Reception experience
- Experience in a corporate setting is a must
- Professional presentation
- Client first mentally
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Able to work efficiently, independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage a variable work load
- Strong attention to detail, cleanliness and organization
