Fors Marsh's Human Capital and Business Advisory Services (HCBAS) practice is seeking a highly organized, experienced, intelligent, and motivated Research Intern to join our Organizational Research and Consulting (ORC) Division. This job is best suited for those who have completed or are currently in progress of completing an advanced degree program with a background in industrial-organizational psychology, social psychology, organizational behavior, business or related discipline to contribute to research and consulting projects across a variety of government contracts. You will contribute to the execution, interpretation, and reporting of research and consulting studies employing a variety of quantitative and qualitative methodologies. The ideal candidate continuously strives to learn and develop and enjoys working in a highly collaborative environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Note-taking for interviews, focus groups, or meetings.
- Contributing to literature reviews.
- Assisting with qualitative data analysis.
- Assisting with quantitative data analysis.
- Assisting in preparing research reports, briefs, presentation decks, and other external communications.
- Updating administrative or project-related documents (e.g., participant trackers, task schedules).
Qualifications:
- Completed or currently in progress of completing an advanced degree program (e.g., MA, MS, PhD) in social/behavioral science, business and administration, or other related technical or liberal arts field.
- Interest in applied research, with an ability to think creatively to solve tangible organizational behavior problems through research.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Highly self-motivated.
- Desire and ability to be a team player.
- Basic understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Experience in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Applicants may be subject to a low-level government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to sensitive information.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and consent to a full background check due to our federal contract requirements.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in using statistical software packages (e.g., SPSS, Stata).
- Experience in writing research reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in writing research proposals or grant writing.

Location : Remote, United States residents only. ****
Internship length: 6 months.
Hourly commitment: Full-time hours throughout the summer (June-August), part-time flexible hours (about 10 hours/week) in the fall (September through November).
Compensation :
- Bachelor's degree Only: $25/hour
- Working towards Masters: $25-30/hour
- Master's degree: $30/hour
- Working towards PhD: $30-$35/hour
