As our receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for customers calling our business. You'll be responsible for determining which department is best suited to assist each caller and ensure that all receptionist responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered promptly, with high quality.

PAY RANGE: $14.50-15.50 depending on qualifications.

RECEPTIONIST RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while presenting essential information when needed.

• Complete other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, data entry, photocopying, collating, faxing etc.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Ability to multitask, managing multiple phone lines at one time.

• Familiar with a fast-paced retail environment.

• Committed to outstanding customer service, going above and beyond for customers.

• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).

• Willing to be a team player and help with a wide variety of tasks when phones are slow.

• Capacity to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Horticultural knowledge (a plus, but not required).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with Counter Point POS.

Job starts immediately

Position is full time through spring and summer, Friday- Tuesday.

Wage is $14.50-$15.50, Depending on experience. Hiring bonus for bi-lingual employees.
