    ****We are currently seeking a Front Desk Associate to join our team at the optical department.

    Position Details:

    • Job Type: Full Time
    • Openings: 1
    • Workdays and Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage front desk operations, including answering phones and scheduling appointments.
    • Assist in merchandising frames, lenses, and eyewear accessories.
    • Support the Optometrist during eye exams as needed.
    • Guide patients in frame and lens selection.
    • Ensure compliance with optical quality standards.
    • Handle inventory management and eyewear orders.
    • Verify orders, measurements, prescriptions, and materials.
    • File invoices and statements.
    • Conduct eyewear adjustments and minor repairs.
    • Assist patients in adapting to their lenses.
    • Coordinate with labs and perform insurance verifications.

    Requirements:

    • High school graduate or equivalent.
    • Strong sales background.
    • Basic optometry experience is a plus.
    • Initiative and ability to work well in a team.
    • Flexible schedule to meet patient and operational demands.
    • Proven customer service skills.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills; computer literate.
    • Basic computer knowledge; Microsoft Office skills helpful.
    • Prior experience in the optical industry is a plus.
    • Insurance and billing experience is beneficial.
    • 6 months of medical or sales experience, with patient care experience required.

    Experience:

    • Pay is determined based on experience.
