    Job Description

    The Product Administrator position is an administrative support role, primarily managing inbound and outbound sample requests, assisting the Product Development team in product and packaging sample reviews, assisting with presentations, and tracking data points as required, as well as assisting in projects as assigned.

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

    • Manages inbound and outbound sample requests and catalog activity on Smartsheet tracker.
    • Own physical inventory of samples; unpacking, organizing, cataloguing samples ranging from first concept to ‘top of production’.
    • Assists Product Development team in product and packaging sample reviews at both development stages and ‘top of production’ final inspections. Organizes review sessions with original reference samples for comparison as appropriate. Documents team’s feedback on samples to provide to Factory.
    • Creates Product Development presentations for internal new product meetings and pitches to customers as collateral is needed.
    • Assists in maintaining weekly accuracy of ‘Product Development Projects’ Smartsheet tracker among other New Product data points Product Development team owns.
    • Documents repeatable processes by creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other forms of documentation that will benefit department ease of doing business.
    • Prioritizes and manages own workload via Asana to-do list while taking ownership of deadlines across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proactively communicates verbally and in writing, following up with stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met. Troubleshoots product development issues and takes ownership to ensure project completeness.
    • Demonstrates a clear understanding of the relation of brands as they pertain to each business unit, products alike and marketed.
    • Displays strong understanding of industry competition.
    • Detailed understanding of item set up, systems and product details to ensure part number database is complete and accurate.
    • Pays close attention to detail with all types of communications, documentation, and project deliverables.
    • Takes initiative to meet deadlines and schedule necessary meetings with team members to ensure follow through on project completeness.
    • Assists in projects as directed by the Senior Director of Product.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Excel.
    • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills; must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and shift gears at a moment's notice.
    • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills for internal partnerships and external relationship building.
    • Self-motivated, confident, energetic, thrives in fast-paced environment.
    • Keen attention to detail, inquisitive, meticulous, and time conscious.
    • Able to physically lift up to 30 lbs., unbox product samples which requires standing for long period of time, as well as transporting, setting up and storing samples accordingly.

    Additional Information

    • Position open to all US residents legally authorized to work in the US.
    • Hybrid position that requires regular presence in the office.
    • Full-time position (40-hour work week).
