    Overview:

    Our well-known client in the Orange County community is seeking to hire a Bookkeeper for their family office. This individual will be responsible for the accounting support for individual, family, and household employees and their supervisors. Exercise independent judgment and tact in handling highly confidential information and personnel.

    Qualifications/Duties:

    Full Charge Bookkeeping experience including payroll and 401K knowledge.

    Strong analytical, prioritization, and project management skills.

    General understanding of various legal documents.

    Prepare subscription agreements and coordinate entry into new partnerships.

    Work closely with Advisors and Trustees of multiple entities, Tax & Estate Planning Firms, Brokers, and Banking Relations, collaborating with external auditors, Vendors, and family-related financial transactions.

    Responsibilities for Board meetings of various entities as acting Secretary.

    Manage and renew insurance policies.

    Manage and maintain business continuity protocols such as but not limited to online access management, OneDrive softcopy folder and file storage and naming protocols, and back-ups of data.

    Skills & Experience:

    Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles

    Experience in training and/or supervising administrative and bookkeeping personnel

    Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop, Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook and 10-key

    Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis

    Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively

    Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

    Experience in a Family Office

    Notary Public preferred
