    Job Description

    Position Summary: Produces, and amends digital files to prepare the files for printed materials by studying job specifications; setting-up, operating, adjusting, controlling, and operating and maintaining digital printing equipment. Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: * Create and complete finished electronic pre- and post-press production of graphic design materials (such as, but not limited to, full price and sale store signage, print pieces and marketing materials). Understands printing job requirements by studying job specifications; assessing requirements for digital printing; organizing job sequence; retrieving/ordering required ink and paper; inspecting files; * Sets-up digital printing presses by loading stock and adjusting for size; setting feed board, side guides, register board, and delivery mechanism; adjusting pressures and tensions; loading and setting inking mechanisms; setting computer controls * Establishes printing quality by pulling proof copies; adjusting ink distribution, speed, and drying temperatures. * Maintains production and quality by inspecting random production samples; loading material; adjusting settings and controls; correcting jams and tears. * Perform finishing tasks including substrate cutting, rolling, banding, and attaching processed documentation * Responsible for graphics production, including substrate loading, pre-flight, scanning, optimizing, outputting and proofing artwork. * Any other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Experience: * High School Diploma or GED * Required skills would be desktop publishing tools, functional and technical skills, command skills, planning, productivity, results driven, deadline-oriented, MAC & PC proficiency. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Office * This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test. Physical Demands and Work Environment: * The employee is on his/her feet daily, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds.
