    Position Overview:

    As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth coordination of international and domestic transportation, guaranteeing the timely delivery of our power transformers while adhering to import compliance regulations. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with logistics experience and excellent communication skills to grow and excel in a dynamic environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Develop and maintain transportation and distribution procedures to maximize delivery efficiency.

    Select appropriate delivery methods to minimize delivery costs and maximize customer satisfaction.

    Coordinate all aspects of International and US Domestic transportation, including logistics planning, rate quotations, booking, preparing documentation, contacting brokers/steamship lines, cargo tracking, customs clearance, inland transportation, and customer services.

    Provide solutions to move the power transformers using multiple modes of transportation.

    Execute a comprehensive examination of Import documentation, including commercial invoices, bill of lading, and related shipping documents, while ensuring compliance with international and U.S. laws related to import activity.

    Complete documentation, including preparation of commercial invoices, hazardous materials, shippers' export declarations, bills of lading, international airway bills, packing slips, shipping instructions, and country-specific requirements.

    Responsible for proper Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) code classification of parts of import and creation/compliance of certificate of origin/manufacturer’s affidavit documents.

    Maintains excellent working relationships with all Distributors, Freight Forwarders, third-party Logistics Providers, and Customers and works closely with our Engineering Team in Taiwan and Sales Team in the U.S.

    Participate in carrier-management processes, such as selection, qualification and performance evaluation to ensure freight transactions are selected based on company objectives for cost and delivery.

    Address problems with daily operations or shipping delays and propose potential risks and countermeasures to keep the minimal negative impact on the customer.

    Preferred Experience:

    3 to 5 years of experience in carrier management and negotiations within the transportation industry.

    Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

    Education Requirements:

    Associate’s degree preferred; advanced degree may be substituted for experience.

    Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email communication.

    Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
