Job Description

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour.

• Live Hanger - Lifts live chickens off moving conveyor belt and hangs them on overhead shackles by their legs.

• Operates and controls the speed of the conveyor belt with knee-controlled lever.

• Clean up feathers and other debris and deposits into gondola/tanks.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Supply Person - Utilize tanks/tubs to supply chicken product to the production line.

• Supply and track the production line with necessary packaging materials (i.e., trays and pads).

• Perform general clean up tasks as required.

• Other duties assigned.

• Product Mover - The pull force required to overcome inertia to move a rack of stacked baskets (seven high) of fryer bags is 81.8 pounds. This pull is completed at waist to shoulder height. This pull is completed using bilateral neutral forearms, shoulder width, with hook grasp.

• Area Supervisors will perform restacking if needed. If minor basket product arranging is needed workers may be required to lift the items listed below.

• Bag Fryers – 5 to 5.5 lbs. – 18 per basket.

• 25 Tray – 4.5 to 8.5 lbs. – 12 per basket.

• Size 2 & Size 3 Tray – 1 to 3 lbs. – 2 to 36 per basket.

• Size 8 Tray – 3 to 5 lbs. – 16 per basket.

• Saddle Pack – 6.5 to 8 lbs. -12 per basket.

• Jumbo Fryer Bag 10 to 11 lbs. – 7 per basket.

Qualifications

• Most positions require standing eight (8) hours or more on a concrete floor.
• Must be able to perform rapid and repetitive movement and grasping of the hand.
• Must be able to work in a cold, damp environment.
• Many positions required lifting up to 85 pounds on a frequent basis.
• Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check.
