Job Description

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Provide support to the Manufacturing Controller, Cost Accounting Department, and Operations through reporting, analysis, projects, and cost accounting staff training and development.  The position will also oversee Finance for California Cooked Operations with one Senior Accountant as a direct report. Position will provide additional support to the By Products business.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Ad Hoc Analysis and Projects                                                                                    

Reporting and Analysis                                                                                                         

Staff training and development                                                                                            

Capital Analysis and Post Audits                                                                               

Budget Presentations and Bridge Analysis                                                               

Will support the Cooked Operations                                                                                    

Troubleshoot reporting issues when they arise at facilities                             

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

Degree in Accounting or Finance with MBA preferred

5-10 years working experience in financial planning and analysis and cost accounting

Proficient with computer applications

Must be a self-motivated and resourceful

Excellent communication skills and have the ability to work effectively with diverse disciplines
