    Job Description

    PURPOSE OF POSITION:

    The Human Resources Management Systems (HRMS) Manager will provide leadership, strategic input and analysis to oversee the organization's human resource information systems. This includes system configuration, business process management, and security maintenance. The HRMS Manager will participate in development of short and long-term goals and objectives for system builds, operations, processes, data flows, security, reporting, and analytics. This role will lead the HRMS administrative team and all HRMS administrative related activities to facilitate the efficient operations for day to day application utilization, issues and projects. Responsible for providing planning, project coordination, and resource allocation, partnering with vendors, HR business partners, IT, and other cross functional teams. This role combines process excellence, technology and partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of an exceptional employee experience in support of our business objectives. Maintains the HR Tech roadmap, including strategy, project plans, system updates for existing tools, and process documentation. Responsible for analyzing and coordinating functional related activities within the scope of the HRMS. This position is accountable for ensuring continuity and successful delivery of functional services to users throughout the organization.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    Lead the HRMS in managing the day-to-day activities to support the HR, payroll and other interrelated functions. Foster and maintain positive relationships with HRMS constituents, including senior management and the HRMS customer base.

    Key member of HRMS Workday project implementation team, leading architect, configuration, testing, go-live and ongoing maintenance and enhancement efforts

    Promote proactive approaches using the HRMS to solve business needs/problems while also enhancing the understanding and acceptance of the HRMS capabilities.

    Ensure compliance to project management standards. Communicate and actively involve project stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of each initiative. Develops and prioritizes departmental projects and requests, and delegates and monitors project completion to assigned deadline.

    Provides project management for HRMS projects including implementations, upgrades, enhancements and systems interfaces. Gathers, analyzes and documents business requirements and effectively communicates requirements to internal business partners and third parties for new process and/or technology evaluations Develops process maps, ROI analysis and participates in or leads third-party system evaluations. Oversee all system upgrades and system additions ensure all HR-related systems are compliant with data protection laws and ensures data integrity across HRMS.

    Collaborate and lead the design, development, configuration, testing, integration, and implementation of internal and external interfaces, reporting, workflow, HRIS projects, releases, and enhancements for all HR business processes.  Will complete reporting and user support for the HRMS applications including the integration of HRMS with other HR related systems as well as with other business applications as appropriate.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Computer Science or relevant field.

    7-10 plus years of experience managing system configuration, maintenance, and deployment of technology systems. Strongly preferred experience designing, configuring, and administering Workday HRIS with practical experience in HR database administration.

    Advanced capability in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, and experience using report writers, dashboards and delivering advance analytics to organization, and advanced knowledge with integrations tools with Workday, such as APIs.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated ability to effectively build, develop and collaboratively work within cross- functional teams, and utilize interpersonal and organizational skills to effectively perform multiple tasks and constantly changing priorities.

    Strong analytical, influential, interpersonal skills and must be results-oriented with the ability to drive continuous improvement within the HRMS Department. Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a tendency to challenge the status quo. Strong bias for action with a demonstrated track record of owning and delivering solutions successfully.

    High level of business acumen, strategic agility, ability to develop others, and influence change and demonstrated ability to work independently, review and analyze data to identify and resolve problems.

    Excellent analytical and customer service skills, ability to interact with all levels of internal and external personnel and have the ability to exercise discretion with highly confidential information, ability to organize own work and set priorities with minimal supervision
