Job Description

Pay Rate: $30.50 per hour.

• Transport L.T.L. and truckload quantities of Foster Farms refrigerated products to pre-determined destinations as well as contracted loads to warehouses throughout California in a safe, efficient and prompt manner. Maintain high level of customer service through regard for product quality, delivery contingencies and courteous customer interaction.

Qualifications

• Must have a current valid Class A commercial driver’s license.
• Must have a current valid Medical Examiners certificate.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years over the road driving experience.
• Must have a clean DMV record.
• Must have valid Foster Farms Forklift and Pallet Jack License.
• Must be able to pass all defensive and re-training classes in areas of equipment operation and safe driving.
• Must be able to pass required D.O.T. drug screening.
• Must be qualified to pull double trailers and 50’ trailers.
• Must be able to operate a two-wheeled hand truck, pallet jack, forklift, hydraulic lift gate and unloading ramp.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and manipulate up to eighty pounds.
• Must be able to work shifts/hours.
• Must have good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to submit and pass criminal background check.
• Must be able to attain and maintain authorization for a TWIC card.
• Must be able to attain and maintain authorization for Rapid Lane card for entering Military bases.
