Job Description

Rate: $23.50hr.

Provide Brood Maintenance Support for the Company.

Analyze and repair Brood Maintenance Malfunctions. Work from schematics to perform maintenance /repairs or install equipment. Report materials and replacement parts needed for jobs. Direct instruct  subordinate employees still in training (i.e. Class C).

Wire  and install motors, switches, fuses, lighting, relays and control devices. Determine proper size and specifications of plumbing pipe, fittings, valves, etc. for both water and gas. Intspect and perform preventative maintenance repairs/corrections on pumps, motors, foggers, heaters, feed systems, vaporizers, injectors, etc. Install, connect, adjust, and calibrate pneumatic gauges, meters, etc. 

Other duties as assigned including general cleaning and assisting other crews if required. Maintain safety, housekeeping and sanitation and disease control requirements while performing job duties. 

Qualifications

Must have 2-4 years of training, on the job experience or formal schooling. 

Must be able to work with minimal supervision and complete work in a timely and efficient manner. 

Must have good interpersonal and communication skills. 

Must be able to lift 50lbs. 

Must be able to work from a ladder.

Must have a CA Driver's License and Maintain an acceptable DMV record.
