    Job Description

    We are looking for a Recruiter with full cycle recruiting experience, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring great employees.

    A successful Recruiter should also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals. Our ideal recruiter holds an academic HR background combined with work experience in screening, interviewing and assessing candidates.

    Ultimately, the responsibilities of the Recruiter are to ensure our company attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline.

    Essential Job Functions:

    Maintaining staffing requirements by staying informed of organizational plans and objectives as well as meeting with managers to discussing needs. Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline. Leverage online recruiting resources to identify and recruit candidates. Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone screenings and in person interviews.  Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules, arranging travel, lodging, and meals, escorting applicant to interviews, and arranging visit and or tours. Take ownership of candidate experience by designing and managing job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements.  Participate in job fairs and industry related career events; coordinate events with hiring managers Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates including colleges and universities Facilitate the offer process by extending job offers and negotiating terms.  Facilitate the onboarding and new hire process.  Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices. Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations. 

    Assist and back-up HR staff in Department as needed with HR Administration tasks and customer service. 

    Special projects as assigned. 

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

    2+ years of recruiting experience

     Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

    Bilingual English/Spanish

    Exceptional customer service skills; Ability to work in a very faced-paced, constantly changing environment with employees and applicants from diverse backgrounds.

    Proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter).

    Excellent organizational and time management skills. Demonstrate drive and ability to work with minimal supervision

    Comfortable making decision independently.

    Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills. 

    Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems.

    Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders.

    Proficient in Microsoft Office.

    Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods.

    Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations. 

    Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues

    Ability to occasionally work varied shifts/weekends and travel to assist at other facilities. 

    Ability to multi-task to handle multiple projects in a fast-pased environment.
