Job Description

Rate of Pay: $17.25

• Help maintain and improve quality and food safety, to insure compliance with company quality standards and USDA regulatory requirements·       
• Fueling of tractors
• High pressure washing of fleet vehicles
• Steam cleaner operation
• Operate gas/electric forklift
• Drive, couple and uncouple tractor/trailer combinations
• Perform circle inspection of vehicles while at fuel island
• Proper documentation of fuels and lubricants dispensed
• Work safely and help maintain safe work environment
• Don proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Perform all other duties as requested by Supervisor / Foreperson
• Assist technicians as needed

Qualifications

• Must have good interpersonal skills
• Must have legible penmanship
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English (which includes reading and writing)
• Must have a valid California driver’s license with acceptable DMV record, Class A license preferred
• Driving record must conform to company standards
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
•  Must be able to operate gas/electric forklift and have FF Safety License
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Must be able to climb in and out of trucks continually during shift
• Must be able to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must possess mechanical aptitude regarding vehicles with some experience preferred
• Must be able to work rotating shifts, weekends and overtime as needed
• Must be able to progress to higher tech level
• Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check
