  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • To process inventory replenishments to ensure product availability, while balancing cooler and freezer space.  
    • Ensure inventory accuracy through physical count verifications and transaction reconciliation.  
    • Notify management daily with recommendations regarding product rotation and product availability.
    • Product Ordering: Daily ordering to insure product is here for all outgoing orders, daily Hot Sheet creation, Plant demands, SAP and DLx inventory comparisons
    • Product Rotation: Order moves between warehouses to insure proper rotation of product.  Product checks by MRP controller, status changes, white bird inventory, recounts and shipping sequence checks. This is achieved by checking inventory in internal and external warehouses and scheduling product movement as needed
    • Quality Control: Monitor all ready to eat and cooked production facilities that are part of the mircro hold process.  Ensure that products that are on micro hold are on hold systematically.  Record all product releases and supply warehouse with appropriate documentation.  Provide QC with proper documentation that product status changes have been done.  Log and release to shippable inventory those products that have cleared micro hold.
    • Reports: Run the daily on time trailer shipment report, early loads log, fresh to frozen, deli production destination, scan gun log, rework trailers report, returns report, in transit report and research, will call appointments calendar, CHEP pallets report, and cycle counting report.  Weekly reports include. SAP report, ZSDR Shelf Life and the aging report.  Reports run bi-weekly are distress to expire and receiving adjustments. 
    • Support: Assist with invoicing and load completion, purchase order creation, purchase requisition creation, purchase order receiving, outside purchase reconciliation, cash box for machine refunds, log training and export paperwork preparation.
    • Help maintain and improve quality and food safety, to insure compliance with company quality standards and USDA regulatory requirements.  Closely monitor the hold and micro hold process to ensure the customer safety is priority one.  Failure to comply with the micro hold process could have serious consequences with consumer safety and USDA violations. 
    • Other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Must have a high school diploma
    • Must have computer knowledge (Windows, Excel, SAP and DLx system)
    • Must have knowledge of general office procedures
    • Must have good interpersonal and communication skills
    • Must have two to five (2-5) years of experience in warehousing, inventory control and shipping and receiving procedures
    • Must have good verbal and written communication
    • Must be able to work flexible work schedules when needed
    • Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check
