Sr. Human Resources Business Partner – Fresno (Belgravia Plant)
Job Description
The Sr. Human Resources Business Partner will be responsible for supporting the Foster Farms Belgravia Avenue plant in Fresno CA, providing a broad range of human resources services including but not limited to: facilitation of recruiting and selection, employee relations for employees at all levels, handling claims/complaints, assuring federal, state, and local regulatory compliance, facilitating performance management and employee development, succession planning and change management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
Guide performance management of employees in order to resolve employee concerns from the hourly level through the manager level
Provide guidance to supervisory personnel regarding fair and equitable treatment, compliance with labor contract, policies, practices, procedures and government laws and regulations
Partner with facility management to ensure a safe working environment
Identify and assess training needs and coordinate training and development for the facility
Manage the recruitment and selection process of hourly and except employees
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
Nurture a positive working environment
Oversee benefits enrollment
Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
Qualifications
B.S. Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field
5+ years related experience in HR preferably in a manufacturing environment
People oriented and results driven
Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
Knowledge of timekeeping systems, HRMS systems and databases
Ability to think strategically
Enhanced leadership skills
Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient use of PC (Excel, Word)
Demonstrated drive and ability to work with minimal direction and supervision
Ability to multi-task to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to occasionally work varied shifts/weekends and travel to assist at other facilities
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
