    Job Description

    PURPOSE OF POSITION:

    Provide support and ongoing administration to all aspects of Human Resources technical tools.  Provide analytics to any/all areas of HR and interfacing departments.  Participate in designing, building, and implementation of system updates and new tools.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    PRODUCTION SUPPORT: Provide support for HRMS, including researching and resolving HRMS problems, unexpected results or necessary process improvements; performing scheduled activities. Monitor and maintain interfaces between HRIS and internal/external vendor systems. Conduct audits to ensure data integrity.

    SYSTEM MAINTENANCE: Assist in the review, testing and implementation of HRMS upgrades or patches. Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application upgrades and/or fixes. Maintain HRMS tables, and document processes and results.

    REPORTS/QUERIES:  Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs.

    TRAINING: Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Train clients on new processes/functionality. Train new system users.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Must be interested and available for an 18-24 month full time temporary position.

    BS Degree in Human Resources/Computer Science related field or equivalent work experience.

    Minimum 2 years HR systems technical experience.  

    Demonstrated proficient working knowledge and understanding of HR systems with proven history working with confidential material.

    Proven ability to rapidly learn applications and utilize tools; self-motivated and directed. 

    Proven ability to identify and resolve problems with strong critical thinking and analytical skills.  Attention to detail is a must.  

    Intermediate/Advanced skill level in Microsoft Office, (strength in Excel required/Access desired).

    Strong communication skills oral/written dealing with technical and non-technical subject matter. 

    Superior customer service skills.
