  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Provide support and ongoing functional administration to all aspects of Benefit technical tools.  Provide and create metrics for benefit administration. Participate in designing and the work flow of vendors and applicable benefit applications. This hands-on role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our benefit programs, partnering with our vendors and cross-functional teams in Payroll, HRIS, Shared Services, Legal and Finance.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Serve as functional process expert for benefit function, including conducting audits to ensure data integrity and compliance and continuing to search for process improvements. Monitor interfaces between HRIS and internal/external vendor systems by working closely with HRMS team.

    Partner with 3rd party vendors, brokers, to resolve system issues to ensure smooth operation of our benefit plans.

    Develop and maintain Benefits communication tools including Dashboard, Messaging Systems and ensuring all benefits information is up to date on various platforms.

    Proactively identify and implement process and program improvements. Troubleshoot process issues, identify root cause and implement solutions. Leverages technology to enhance Benefits services and contain costs.

    Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs.

    Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Train HR field clients on new processes/functionality.

    Assists in creating communication materials, analyzes benefit offerings to assist employees with questions and offers prompt solutions.

    Participates in the testing and implementation of enhancements to any Benefits related systems and annual set ups.

    Performs annual year-end activities such as updating the plan rates/contributions into the ACA Plan Manager and audit of 1095 forms.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    BS degree in Human Resources/Computer Science related field or equivalent work experience.

    Minimum 1 year HRMS functional system experience, 2+ years preferred

    Ability to identify and implement process improvements with little or no guidance.

    Proven ability to rapidly learn applications and utilize tools; self-motivated and directed. 

    Proven ability to identify and resolve problems with strong critical thinking and analytical skills.  Attention to detail is a must.  

    Intermediate/Advanced skill level in Microsoft Office, (strength in Excel required/Access desired)

    Strong communication skills oral/written dealing with technical and non-technical subject matter. 

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    Consistent and reliable attendance

    Ability to travel by car to various locations with occasional travel overnight
