Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field; MBA preferred
- Ten plus years of broad-based relevant professional experience in purchasing and supply chain management preferable in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of five years of experience at a senior level director position managing a sourcing department.
- Extensive demonstrated experience in sourcing & procurement with emphasis in energy, packaging and food ingredients.
- Broad strategic thinker with good problem solving, scenario planning, decision-making, and negotiating skills; ability to analyze technical data in suppliers' proposals.
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and implement the complete Procurement process, system, and structure for excellence in a fast pace complex environment
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with proven ability to build a high performing team
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to sit/stand for 4+ hours a day
- Regular and consistent attendance is required
- Must have ability to travel occasionally overnight
