    Job Description

    PURPOSE OF POSITION:

    Position will lead, manage, and administer the Time Collection system and its processing, company-wide. Position is a “working partner” in strategizing the use of Time Processing for the overall benefit of the Company by optimizing automation of accurate time collection. Endeavor to reduce company costs by use of the system.  Works independently to maintain the overall internal Time system structure and related responsibilities. This includes working and managing various consultants and partners where necessary, the technical configuration of pay rules, and company-wide clock administration.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    Develop and Lead a variety of project efforts to include supporting the current HRMS Workday implementation.

    Implement new system functionality as needed.

    Design and implement system configuration changes as needed.

    Maintain knowledge of regulatory and contractual requirements and company policies. Respond to regulatory, contractual, or company initiated changes timely and effectively mitigate risks.

    Provide support for spontaneous requests from Accounting, HR, Production, Legal, and other areas and will direct Managers, Supervisors in their maintenance and use of UKG Kronos and/or Workday Time to include trouble-shooting, researching, and reconciling data.

    Create, design, execute and evaluate miscellaneous Company-wide system audits on a routine basis.

    Oversee, Monitor, Maintain online structure for UKG Kronos and/or Workday Time and the Time-related integrations of data between the time clocks and Workday system.

    Oversee the Maintenance and Review of Rate Sheets, group schedules, operating group, employee selectivity security, comments List, function access profiles, data access profiles, pay codes, pay rules, employee groups, holiday table rules, and labor transfer data elements for Management.

    Conduct Time Training; update training manual as necessary.

    Manage the oversight of clock infrastructure: firmware upgrades, replacements, trouble-shooting.

    Partner, collaborate, participate and test in the upgrade of software.

    Manage and oversee the maintenance, coordination of Time system security access and review, develop and coordinate Time Reporting.

    Develop, document and test the Time policy and procedures in collaboration with Payroll.

    Act as UKG Kronos technical support liaison to provide guidance with Workday Time issues and topics with IT, Payroll, and HR for planning and problem issues.

    ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    Work with miscellaneous auditors as needed.

    Special projects as needed.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    REQUIREMENTS:

    BA/BS Degree in Accounting/Business Administration (or currently pursuing) or equivalent experience.

    Three-five years working experience with Workday and/or a Time Tracking system preferred, with a strong understanding of Workday software, to include configuration experience.

    Prior work experience exhibiting strong leadership; trainer experience preferred.

    Demonstrated technical ability to be able to explore, understand, and apply attributes of a software.

    Demonstrate the ability to critically think and dissect events to understand the details.

    Strong problem-solving, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills; strong customer service values.

    Able to work independently and work with all levels of management. Must have a high degree of organization and prioritization skills and be detailed oriented.

    Must have strong computer skills; MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

    Must be able to communicate effectively with varying levels of management and team members, both written and verbal.

    Willing and able to travel.
