  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Answer telephone, radio calls and sending appropriate officers and supervisors to handle situation.  Maintain a typed or handwritten blotter recording all calls and checks, process and file all department paperwork.

    Role and Responsibilities: (Includes but is not limited to the following)

    1.        Process paperwork to executives to keep them informed of hotel activity, file all reports, check sheets, and personnel forms into appropriate files.

    2.        Type or hand write checks and information on the daily blotter and any memos which may be generated during shift

    3.        Communicate clearly with persons on the telephone and officers on the two-way radio so that it can be understood without confusion.

    4.        Receive calls requesting assistance, obtain necessary information to determine which officer and what, if any, equipment may be needed and dispatch appropriate officers and supervisors.

    5.      Attend and participate in shift meetings to receive instructions and information regarding internal property concerns.

    1.        Ability to listen effectively, read, write, speak, and understand the English language clearly to ascertain and document important information, to follow written and/or verbal instructions, to provide clear direction/guidance and to communicate with other employees/management.

    2.        Social skills as demonstrated by the ability to listen and respond to employee or management inquires/concerns using a positive, clear speaking voice, answering questions, and/or offering assistance giving accurate information regarding plans, policy, or procedures within guidelines.

    3.        Ability to organize, prioritize work, meet deadlines, work with minimal supervision/multiple interruptions, and adapt instructions/directions from one assignment to another.

    4.        Basic mathematical skills necessary to verify/balance reports and perform simple calculations.

    5.        Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system.

    6.        Ability to maintain attendance in conformance with standards.

    7.       Ability to maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance.
