Qualifications
- Must have demonstrated mechanical experience repairing heavy duty trucks, trailers and agricultural equipment
- Must be able to work out of a service truck
- Must have knowledge of electronic systems
- Must have general knowledge of emission systems
- Must be able to diagnose and repair hydraulic systems
- Must possess necessary tools to perform repairs
- Must possess a valid California driver’s license with driving record that conforms to Foster Farms guidelines
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision and be self-motivated
- Must be able to communicate in English, which includes reading and writing and have legible penmanship
- Must be able to work safely and help maintain a safe work environment
- Must be able to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to continuously be on feet throughout the shift
- Must be able to bend over and squat
- Must be able to work various shifts, overtime, weekends, and occasional holidays as needed.
- Must be able to progress to a higher tech level preferred
- Must perform to established time standards for commonly performed repairs
- Must reside within a 50 mile radius of truck for which applicant applied.
- Must adhere to Foster Farms and State Environmental regulations.
- Must be able to submit and pass criminal background check
