Job Description

Pay Rate: $16.25 per hour

The work of a Cut-Up Line Worker with Foster Farms is performed in a poultry processing facility involved primarily in the production of chicken and associated chicken products. The Cut-Up Line Worker may rotate into several functions including:

• Salvage Platform; Leg Processor; Place Tray & Pad; Drum Packers;
• Thigh Packers; Stylist; Salvager; Basket Pack Drums; Basket Pack Thighs;
• Pre-Graders; Saddlepack Tapers; Basket Pack Saddlepack; Insert Placers; Line Supplier; and Product Wash.
• The work of a Cut-Up Line Worker with Foster Farms is performed indoors in a poultry processing/packaging environment. Temperature levels will vary depending on where in the facility the worker is located. Due to the use water during the sanitation of equipment and processing operations the humidity and overall moisture levels are high in most indoor processing areas. All workers are required to wear the appropriate PPE needed to perform the duties of their respective position. This may include but is not limited to: steel gloves, hairnets, rubber boots, ear protection, rubber smocks, protective gloves, eye protection, and arm guards

Qualifications

Tools used in this position include but are not limited to the following: fillet knife, steel glove, arm guard. Regular, dependable attendance is an essential function of this position.
