Job Description
Pay Range $120,000 to $135,000 per year
** Purpose of position:**
Management reporting of costs and ownership of all systems associated with the tracking of all aspects of finished goods inventory flow from the end of the manufacturing process to final delivery of the product to the customer. This includes total company finished goods inventory, transportation, product handling & storage. Will also have
_ Essential Job Functions:_
Supervision of employees in Inventory, Distribution and Commodity Accounting, total of three direct reports.
Assist Supply Chain Senior Management in both long-term and short-term decision making
Provide financial management coordination and on-going support for WMS & SAP operating system in regards to finished goods inventory & transportation related transactions & processes
General Ledger close, reporting and analysis for distribution, finished goods inventory & inventory adjustments, internal & external audit support
Insure adherence to finished goods inventory and product distribution procedures
Development of cost and process improvement initiatives
Analyze day-to-day business functions to assist in the identification of potential strategic options to improve total company work processes for finished goods inventory, internal handling, storage and transportation.
Qualifications
_ Requirements:_
Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance
Three-five years supervisory experience in the areas of both professional and clerical staff.
Five-ten Accounting/Finance experience in a fast-paced environment.
Detailed oriented with the ability to be accurate when dealing with large amounts of data.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and must have the ability to multi-task and change direction.
Excellent managerial and problem solving skills and have financial analysis experience
Strong problem solving, communication and analytical skills
Physical Requirements:
Must have reliable transportation and have consistent attendance.
Must be able to sit for long periods.
Must be able to work on the computer for long periods of time
Must be available every four weeks for financial closing process
