Job Description

HOURLY RATE: $26.00-$26.85/HR

Purpose of Position:

To provide construction maintenance support for the company.

Decision-Making __ Responsibilities:

Determine job requirements and provide for job safety.

 Working Relationships:

Internally:  Department as well as other division and company employees.

Externally:  Material suppliers and outside vendors. 

Essential Job Functions:

• Analyze and repair structural damages
• Work form blueprints/schematics on new construction
• Report (in writing) materials and job placement parts needed for jobs
• Direct/instruct subordinate employees still in training( e.g., Carpenters, Classes B and C).
• Prepare drawings that lay out small construction jobs

Additional Functions:  Other duties as assigned, to include:                      

• General cleaning and/or assisting other crews if required.
• Maintaining safety, housekeeping and sanitation and disease control requirements while performing job duties.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 4 years of training on-the-job and/or formal schooling.
• Must be able to pass a Carpenter Level A Test.
