    Job Description

    Foster Fuels, Inc. a fuel distribution company, is looking for a self-driven National Sales Representative for our Mission Critical Services Division. The Mission Critical Sales Representative role is primarily sales and business development with critical environment experience . The candidate must be willing to travel to visit customers as required. The candidates must be self-motivated and able to work within the Mission Critical Team strategy to develop new business and promote the Foster Fuels brand. A high degree of internal and external co-ordination is required, particularly with customers, Mission Critical Sales team, and the Foster Fuels Executive Team. He/she will participate as a team with other Foster Fuels Mission Critical Sales Representatives and Management.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Manage the sales pipeline to capture new business
    • Use initiative to identify potential new business within a critical operation environment industries, such as Data Centers, health care industry, financial sector, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, property management
    • Travel within the region and nationally to customer locations as required
    • Monitor customer activity locally and nationally
    • Negotiate contracts, prepare bid qualifications and respond to RFPs
    • Take calls from customers, quote prices and make sales
    • Experience with CRM tools, preferably SalesForce
    • Be available to take and proactively respond to after hour/weekend customer emergency calls
    • Driving sales cycle management with existing and new customers
    • Demonstrated Sales experience telephonically, using mass media and face to face
    • Ability to present to a new client confidently
    • Experience Portfolio/account management
    • Identification and initial contact with prospective new customers through cold calling
    • Develop relationship with new prospects and where necessary visit to convert into an ordering customer
    • Focus to regain business with lapsed customers
    • Provide back-up for other sales team
    • Willing to work outside of normal job focus when required supporting Emergency Services Deployments, Fuel Testing and Fuel Polishing initiatives
    • Pursue accounts not lifting

    Required Skills:

    • 3 to 5 years of commercial sales experience, preferably in a critical environment industry (fuel, data center, electrical, HVAC, property management)
    • Knowledge of geographic area and locations of potential corporate data center locations within the DFW region
    • BS Degree in Marketing or related field
    • Working knowledge of critical environment industry customer and market dynamics required
    • Strong customer service skills and strong values around delivering customer service
    • Ability to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction within the current and future customer base in Logistic Sales, Emergency Sales and Fuel Quality Sales
    • Serves as primary customer account management contact for end-to-end responsibility for project and customer needs
    • Strong communication skills (both oral and written) in face to face and written exchanges
    • Strong analytical and numerical ability
    • Flexibility to travel as required
    • A high degree of flexibility, the ability to work under pressure and good organizational skills are required
    • Experienced proposal writing ability and seeking support and alignment with management
    • Work experience gained within telephone sales is required
    • Ability to present to a new client confidently

    Preferred Skills:

    • Track record of over-achieving sales quota
    • Previous experience in an organization using SalesForce
    • Knowledge of the fuel industry and data center industry
    • Class B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
