    Job Description

    JOB SUMMARY

    Work directly with Technical Support Manager to improve system efficiencies and deliver results that will make the organization more profitable. Responsible for effectively managing data using SQL skills to craft accurate and sustainable data solutions using Microsoft Access and develops database report queries. Work on multiple projects simultaneously and translate business data into digestible information that improves corporate processes.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

     

    • Strong proficiency in SQL Server and Microsoft Access and interpretation of query execution plans
    • SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or other reporting tool experience
    • Demonstrates attention to detail, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with ability to prioritize and multi-task
    • Some proficiency in Excel is preferred
    • 2+ years in a data engineer or SQL-heavy data analyst role
    • Proficient in data-based systems and related technical software programs
    • Detail-oriented, self-starter with desire to learn
    • Ability to analyze data and report key findings in a user-friendly manner
    • Results-oriented, sets priorities, meets deadlines/targets and manages diverse projects
    • Ability to conform to established work schedule. Must have high-level attendance in accordance with the Foundation for Medical Care Attendance Policy
    • Ability to maintain professional demeanor and to exercise tact and discretion

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High school graduate or equivalent required
    • Associate’s degree in IT/Computer Science or related field preferred
    • Experience with data-based systems required
    • Prior medical claims billing, processing and/or experience with employer benefit plans preferred
    • Current typing certificate demonstrating a typing ability of 45 wpm, dated within one year of application
